Spring is coming…
Spring is coming isn’t it? How is it even March? Where did Christmas go? I haven’t even put my snowman decorations away yet and the thermometer has hit 60F already. Living in central Illinois with the yo-yo winter weather, one minute it’s icy, the next beautiful and sunny. You never know what you’re going to get.
I am enjoying the thought that Spring is just around the corner. After the ice melts off these weeds and branches, the grass will turn back to green, the first daffodils and tulips will stretch into the sun and show their beautiful colors, the first robins will appear and life will seemingly begin again.
The ducks have found the now thawed pond and are enjoying finally getting really clean!
The cats are feeling spring fever as well (Beautiful ‘daddy’ Puddincup below) and I know we’ll have a few batches of new kitties romping around the barn soon.
‘Tis the cycle of life as we get to experience all the seasons here. Death, dormancy, resurrection, life! The cycle set in motion by God. I think I’ll set my sights on the latter!
Welcome life!
